anyway, i did the physical media version of a top 10 list earlier in the month, but i realized a good chunk of stuff i really loved this year i had heard on Bandcamp. out of my own sick need to keep track of shit, i figured i'd attempt to remember some of them. here goes.....

COWARDS - Hoarder

depraved filthcore from the bowels of France.

BEAST AS GOD - s/t

sinister metallic hardcore in the dirty beastly vein of Unruh. never not good.

FACIAL ABUSE - Slightly Uncomfortable 

like the last ten years of Napalm Death taken to deeper extremes.

UBASUTE - Tyranny Garden

supremely caustic and stridently wrenching in the way screamo was before it became "Screamo(tm)".

PURGE. - An Exercise in the Fundamentals of Unorthodoxy

i really can't say enough about this release. it just so much adheres to everything i'd want out of a grind record; heavy, memorable, misanthropic, weird artwork, cool lyrics... Purge. has it all.

deranged metallic hardcore in the anti-tradition of Rorschach and other warped outsiders.

FORCED OPINION - Life in Fear

no-nonsense brutality as only Cleveland can deliver.
