much like Helms Alee, i really don't know why i don't hear this band literally everywhere, but i'm glad the normies are sticking to their gheuns with Greta Van Fleet Foxes or whoever the latest "only new band that i like" thing is.

what Battle of Mice might have evolved into if they stuck to it. 



"fast" boinds really need to put away the pool noodles, turn off the Nickelodeon, and get their shit together... starting here. 



they seem like one of those bands that doesn't get brought up a lot, but whenever they are, no one has anything negative to say. not a bad place to be (cue the anal cavity stalagmites of Action Snark to tell me they're "terrible" or whatever super soaker level killshot you've got ready. sorry... hasn't been a good ever.)



best new project i've heard from Hospital in a long time. 




fucking violent. ones to watch.

this one took some time to hit me, but when it did it did. i also like that their initials spell out the word "POG". 



the music sounds the way the name looks. 




off to a good start 




if Primitive Man wrote an album for the angry hippie simp from Mandy.


still manages to hold my attention where most other projects in this genre have begun to leave me cold.

i know all the crate-boring nerdos lunged at the Zouo reissue, but i gotta say i get more out of this post-Zouo project. 


LANDFILL - Landfill X Developer 

i low-key despise it when bands defer to "Untitled" for track names, but i can't maintain hostilities too long when you coming at me with the something that sounds like a cross between Enemy Soil and Custodian. 


SAIDAN - Jigoku- Spiraling Chasms of the Blackest Hell 

tasteful blends. 


OLD NICK - Curse of the Lock Master / Witch of the Northern Vill 

sounds like Dead Raven Choir rehearsing in an abandoned Toys R Us. dumb as fuck but i like it. 


WORLD PEACE - Come and See 

another new power violence band that remembers the crucial components of "power" and "violence". 


VEGAS - Recovery 

really have come a ways away from their Integrity clone infancy. really should get more attention. 


HIDE - Interior Terror 

"drink dirty water / be defiled" 


UNCONDITIONAL - Suffocating in Black Tar 

new project from the Miscarriage camp. 


 NIGHT WAR - Perversity of War Science 

best d-beat i've heard in a while. 


FANGE - Pantocrator 

when Tommy End shows up in AEW (or maybe even MLW to feud w/ Mil Muertes like in my Lucha Underground fan-fic), Fange should be playing him out to the ring. 


GRISHKA - I 

hope when they crossover into the realm of physical media i'll be able to snag them shits without having to pay crack-sucking Gulch prices. 


SLAUGHTER STRIKE - Winter's Agony 

maybe the most overlooked corner of the Endless Blockade Expanded Universe (isn't a universe always expanding, though?)
